When realestate.com.au relaunched a week ago, the CEO of realestate.co.nz, Alistair Helm, made the following comment on his Unconditional blog…
And just in case anyone was wondering we have exciting news coming very soon in regard to Realestate.co.nz.
Fast forward to today and Alistair has taken the veil off three new websites in the Realestate.co.nz family, each serving a specific market:
- Prime Business – listing businesses for sale
- Prime Commercial – focussed solely on commercial property
- NZ Farms – focussing, you guessed it, on farms and rural property
The sites all reflect a similar layout and a new underlying platform so it is clear they have been doing quite a bit of work themselves. Things are heating up in the online Real Estate space.
I like this strategy of developing sites that serve specific interests. Realestate.co.nz has plenty of domain juice to share with it’s new offspring and thanks to their position in the market I would expect each of the new sites to develop a fair amount of their own authority in Google fairly quickly. With this they’ll be very well placed to do well in natural search for their respective keyword markets.
The big question is, what else is in store for realestate.co.nz?
Very perceptive observation on that blog post – many thanks for the review of the sites we have launched today. Need to make you wait another week or so for the final unveiling !
By the way – the new sites looks great as does the blog.
